To receive incontinence supplies from WV Medicaid, you must have the following:

  • A medical condition resulting in incontinence (e.g. hypotonia, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism)
  • A signed prescription from a physician or licensed practitioner stating that incontinence supplies are medically necessary
  • Total number of incontinence products needed to treat condition

West Virginia Medicaid will cover incontinence supplies for children 3 years or older. Prior authorization may be required for dispensing of incontinence supplies. Quantity limits apply. Maximum combination of incontinence products is 250 units per month.
